I created a low fidelity, clickable prototype in Figma. I conducted moderated testing sessions with five users and observed their frustration at the length of the word selection process.

Based on my observation, I iterated the design by altering the list to current design using cascading pills to provide users with what appears to be a reduced number of questions. I retested this iteration on the initial group of users and on three new users. This iteration resulted in users completing the test in less time and reported that they did not feel overwhelmed by the test length.
